The 8th Annual Canada-Mexico Partnership Plenary Meeting was held on April 19th and 21st in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. Around 200 people from both countries participated, representing fields of government, business and academics, with the purpose to identify new technological and investment exchange opportunities, as well as other binational collaboration forms in different areas.

Within the framework of this event, the FUMEC’s CEO, Guillermo Fernández de la Garza, made a presentation focused on the Mexico-Canada Collaboration in the information and communication technologies industry. This presentation stressed the Foundation’s commitment with the construction of networks between businesses, universities and government programs both in Mexico and Canada, and the leadership role played by the TechBA program in FUMEC’s efforts to create international networks.
