 Economic Development Based on Technological InnovationInnovation is the key for countries and regions to achieve economic growth and succeed in global markets. Since it’s beginning, FUMEC has sought to bring to Mexico success experiences that can better be adapted to the country’s needs with the purpose to foster innovation among enterprises and industries. The Foundation facilitates the exchange of practices and models between Mexico and other countries that have an undeniable leadership in this field such as the United States and Canada. Knowing the successful experiences of other countries has allow us to start up TechBA, a FUMEC’s program with the Mexican Ministry of Economy focused on the acceleration of technology based companies in order that they can bring their products and services to global business environments, establish commercial alliances and access funding. The Technology and Business Assistance System (SATE) is another FUMEC’s program that supports an important group of small and medium sized enterprises that need technological and entrepreneurial advice to improve their performance and increase its competitiveness. The Automotive Program identifies niche market opportunities and drives the development of strategies to strengthen the North American automotive industry.
SATE is focused on the growth of high potential small business (SMEs). SATE delivers its services through a network of Technological and Entrepreneurial Advisors (ATEs) who foster enterprises through methodological tools focused on improving their business plans.
Promotes research, innovation, and technological development in order to benefit Mexican institutions and enterprises though the use and application of high-value solutions based on Microsystems.
